    Located on the sheltered north east shore of Lough Neagh Antrim Boat Club sits in woodland just a short walk along the beach from Shanes Castle. Most of our events take place in Antrim Bay giving a safe area of about six square miles while at any time never being out of sight of land. As one of the leading sailing clubs on Lough Neagh, Antrim Boat Club hosts a range of sailing events. From the competitive winter series, attracting boats and sailors from Strangford Lough and further a field, to the more relaxed summer series taking place on warm Thursday evenings throughout the summer months.   • Army Sailing Association Northern Ireland
    The Army Sailing Association, Northern Ireland (ASA NI) is an RYA accredited joint-service facility, affiliated to the Army Sailing Association, which offers watersports to the Defence Community, including dependents, based in Northern Ireland and wider afield. It caters for all sailing disciplines, including offshore and inshore yacht racing, dinghy and keel-boat racing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and power boating.   • Ballyholme Yacht Club
    Offers racing, sailing and seamanship classes, diving activities, and social events. Ballyholme Yacht Club is located on Ballyholme Bay within the town of Bangor, and at the entrance to Belfast Lough. The location is superb with a sheltered bay allowing safe sailing and racing for the numerous dinghies and "big boats" within the club.   • Cushendall Sailing and Boating Club
    The club, founded in 1961 by a small group of people with an interest in boats, provides a service to people boating, with changing and toilet facilities, a secure boat storage park, social areas and a bar, also by organising events based in the club and on the water. CSBC’s main activity is sailing.     Down Cruising Club is a small, friendly club of approximately 100 members, who are interested in all aspects of boating and cruising on Strangford Lough. The club is fortunate to be based at Ballydorn, on Strangford Lough, and to enjoy the unique facility of club headquarters in the form of the lightship "Petrel". Club members participate in a wide range of social events on board "Petrel", and water-based activities, including cruises both within and beyond Strangford Lough.   • East Belfast Yacht Club
    East Belfast Yacht Club was founded by workers from the Belfast Shipyards in 1904, and has enjoyed both the high and the low years through its existence. From the high points through the 1920s/30s/40s and '50s when the Club hosted many sailing races and entertained the owners and masters of the massive J-Class yachts down to the more plentiful and massively supported Belfast Lough one designs through to the Flying Fifteens and Dragons and others of the various periods. More recent activities have been more towards the Cruising side of Yachting. As a Club we have always been proud of our working class roots and welcome prospective new members who wish to pursue their dreams of building from scratch or renovating existing hulls, be they Ferro, Wood, Steel or GRP. We are now more associated with "traditional" type boats and building rather than the modern GRP types, although we have members also experienced in this type of construction.   • Kircubbin Sailing Club
    The Club has its roots in competitive sailing which was originally based at the Harbour in Kircubbin and has been active on the sailing scene in Strangford Lough since the early 1900s. Even it the early days of the Club, Kircubbin’s sailors were among the best in Strangford Lough. More recently the Club’s Flying Fifteen fleet produced some of the best competitors in that class in the world. Although as the name suggests, the promotion of sailing is the main objective of the club, we welcome other types of craft as well. If you cast your eye around the Bay during the summer you will see motor cruisers, speed boats, fishing boats and cabin/day boats as well as sailing boats.   • Lough Erne Yacht Club
    Established in 1818, the oldest yacht racing club in Ireland. The club promotes sailboat racing, cruising, operates an RYA Recognised Training Establishment, and provides related social and other facilities to members. The Lough Erne Yacht Club is based on a rural waterfront site formerly used as world war two slipway, moorings and hangar. The Club has developed a Clubhouse built in the 1960's and extended in the 1980's, a full service marina and a caravan site. Lough Erne Yacht Club is now used to accommodate members' sailing boats, power boats and caravans and hosts both members' fleet and visiting sailing events throughout the year.   • Portaferry Sailing Club
    The Club now based in its clubhouse at 38-40 Shore Road, Portaferry started as Cooke Street Sailing Club in 1968, named after a previous sailing club in the town which ceased operating in 1956. The Club itself has been responsible over the years for running national and international sailing events and is recognised as an excellent centre for competitive racing in Strangford Lough. The Club's social activities/events have always tried to support and complement events on the water and without the associated financial support the Club could not operate as effectively as it does. In this respect our clubhouse is quite unique and famous for its welcome to visitors to the area. The addition of a restaurant to the bar facilities over ten years ago has made the Club one of the best equipped clubs to cater for its members and visitors in Strangford Lough and indeed Northern Ireland.     Strangford Sailing Club is situated on the shores of Castleward Bay, overlooking the beautiful Strangford narrows to Portaferry. Strangford Sailing Club moorings are located in Audley's Roads at the north end of Castleward Bay. Strangford Sailing Club is a RYA recognised Training Club and we presently have a enthusiastic Junior Section who sail Toppers, Lasers & Optimists on Friday evenings and Sundays during the season. Many of these young sailors compete at open events at other clubs. The club runs training courses during the school holidays.
