  • Burgenländischer Yacht Club Burgenländischer Yacht Club
Segeln am Neusiedler See. Founded in 1955, BYC has grown to become one of the largest yacht clubs in Austria. It is the only one on Lake Neusiedl whose grounds are entirely on water and were therefore built exclusively on stilts. The club complex is located in the middle of Rust Bay. The community's lido is in the immediate vicinity. This means that the existing infrastructure can be easily used. There are crane and slip systems available, as well as the extensive leisure facilities of the Rust adventure pool, which includes a surf school, beach volleyball courts and a mini golf course. As one of the windiest lakes in Austria, Lake Neusiedl is ideal for water sports such as sailing, surfing and kiting. Since the lake often freezes over in winter, ice sailors and ice surfers also get their money's worth. Rust, Austria
