The Adelaide Radio Control Yacht Racing Club (ARCYRC) meets almost every Sunday of the year at the Patawolonga Lake, Anderson Ave, Glenelg North. Racing times vary throughout the year to best make use of prevailing wind conditions. The Adelaide University Sailing Club is the oldest university sailing club in Australia, the Club was established in 1959 and hosted its first intervarsity competition in 1960. A stronghold of Australian university sailing, the Club sails with the fleet of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron (RSAYS) at Outer Harbor with access for members to both dinghies and keelboats. Apollo Bay Sailing Club respectfully acknowledges the Aboriginal community, their ancestors, elders and families here in Gadubanud country. We are situated on the Eastern Eyre Peninsula at Arno Bay. Arno Bay is almost halfway between Whyalla in the North and Port Lincoln in the South of Spencer Gulf. The Sandys Boat Club is a cozy club at the west end of Bermuda and home of the Bermuda Fitted Dinghy, Challenger II. In 1934-35, there was a group of men who would regularly have races between themselves in Mangrove Bay. They thought that they had a good thing going and decided to form a club to bring others together for sailing, boating, and social events. With a trajectory that marks the lives of generations, whether in pioneering the first Sailing Club in Rio Grande do Sul, or in promoting sport and nautical culture in our region, the Rio Grande Yacht Club completed 88 years of a beautiful and fruitful story on June 9, 2022.
