  • Sea Turtle Conservancy
It is the mission of Sea Turtle Conservancy to ensure the survival of sea turtles within the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific through research, education, training, advocacy and protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend. The Sea Turtle Conservancy, formerly known as the Caribbean Conservation Corporation, is the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group. An international nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, Sea Turtle Conservancy was founded in 1959 by world-renowned sea turtle expert Dr. Archie Carr to save sea turtles from eminent extinction through rigorous science-based conservation. Headquartered in Florida, the organization carries out worldwide programs to conserve and recover sea turtle populations through research, education, advocacy and protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend. Over the course of nearly 60 years, Sea Turtle Conservancy’s research programs have yielded much of what is now known about sea turtles and the threats they face, and the organization is applying this knowledge to carry out the world’s most successful sea turtle protection and recovery programs. • Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire
Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire (STCB) is a non-governmental research and conservation organization that has been protecting sea turtles since 1991. The small Caribbean island of Bonaire is our headquarters and home to three of the world’s six endangered or critically endangered species of marine turtles: the hawksbill, green, and loggerhead turtle. STCB uses best practices in science and conservation to build knowledge and protection of Bonaire’s sea turtles. We share our knowledge to raise awareness, affect policy and build support for biodiversity protection. Kralendijk, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands

  • SEATURTLE.ORG - Global Sea Turtle Network
Organizing the world's sea turtle information and making it universally accessible and useful. Initially created as "Turtle Tidings" in 1996, SEATURTLE.ORG was founded out of a desire to support research and conservation efforts in the sea turtle community. This goal is achieved primarily through the SEATURTLE.ORG website and has included providing online access to the Marine Turtle Newsletter and supporting registration and administration of the Annual Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology and Conservation. More recently, we have begun to add centralized database management systems to help organizations working to conserve sea turtles to manage, organize and share their data. These include the Satellite Tracking and Analysis System (STAT), the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation and Necropsy Database (STRAND) and the Sea Turtle Nest Monitoring System (STNMS). These tools are available for use by all sea turtle organizations. Based in North Carolina
