  • Barcelona World Race
    The Barcelona World Race is a new two-handed, non-stop round the world yacht race to be held every four years. For the first time, this race will see the world's best professional sailors from both solo and fully crewed disciplines coming together to compete against each other in teams of two. The course is from Barcelona to Barcelona via three capes: Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn, Cook Strait, putting Antarctica to starboard.

  • Palma Vela
    Palmavela is organised by the Real Club Nautico de Palma and sponsored by Mapfre, with the institutional support of the Balearic Government of Sports and Tourism as well as the Consell de Mallorca and the Port Authority, and the support of Obra Social Fundación La Caixa and a great number of Balearic firms, has now become one to the most important events in the national sailing calendar. This regatta born in 2004 with the aim to bring sailing closer to the public in general, has gathered all kind of keeled yachts, from the modern maxis to small lateen rigged boats, including TP 52, several one design classes or the beautifull classic and vintage yachts, amongst others.   • Superyacht Cup
    Running since 1996, The Superyacht Cup Palma is the longest running superyacht regatta in Europe and attracts many of the most prestigious sailing yachts from all over the world. The regatta is a favourite with yacht owners, friends, captains and crew who visit Palma de Mallorca annually for the 4 day regatta. With warm early summer conditions and reliable sea breezes, the Bay of Palma offers some of the most idyllic racing conditions in the Mediterranean. The racing is run by the highly experienced international Race Officers and the team at Real Club Nautico de Palma. The participating superyachts are all moored together stern-to in the Superyacht Cup Regatta Village located at Muelle Viejo with the iconic Palma Cathedral and Palm tree lined Paseo Maritimo providing a stunning back drop.

  • Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofia
    Every spring, over a thousand sailors from 53 countries come to Mallorca to participate in a unique event where the best crews of Olympic sailing compete in the hope of victory and receive from H.R.H.Queen Sofia, the trophy that bears her name. A legendary trophy on which are inscribed the winners of the 43 editions held to date. The “Sofía MAPFRE” Trophy, also popularly known as the TROFEO SOFIA MAPFRE ISAF SWC MALLORCA, has become over the years a tradition that is part of social and sporting calendar of Mallorca, that feels it as their own and inalienable.
