  • Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race
    Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race continues to grow. B2K is the signature offshore yachting event for the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. The 348 nautical mile race will start just east of Green Island on Brisbane's beautiful Moreton Bay. The yachts will cruise along the shorelines of the world famous Fraser Island before crossing the Tropic of Capricorn bound for Keppel Bay Marina. The race is set to become one of the biggest offshore races on the east coast of Australia.

  • Easter Off-Beach Regatta
    The Easter Off-Beach Regatta is to be held at Airlie Beach in the midst of the stunning Whitsunday Islands. Racing will be held over two days, allowing a day either side of the racing for travel to and from Airlie Beach. There will be an invitational race on the first day. Airlie Beach has loads to offer both sailors and non-sailors. From day trips to the Whitsunday islands and Great Barrier reef, to bars, restaurants and an enclosed swimming lagoon.   • Festival of Sails

  • Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race
    The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia introduced the Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race in 1986 as 'the great winter escape', taking advantage of the completion of the Gold Coast Seaway. Extensive harbour works funded by the Queensland Government had opened up an all-weather entrance at the Southport bar to deep keel yachts, large pleasure craft and fishing trawlers. Since then the 384 nautical mile race has attracted fleets of between 70 and 80 yachts each year, with entries coming mainly from New South Wales and Queensland, but also from Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and New Zealand.

The Sunseeker Australia Cup was first held in January 1982 at Royal Perth Yacht Club to provide the best skippers from various countries the opportunity to build up their match racing skills in preparation for the America's Cup.
